To transfer your domains to Trustname, first obtain the Authorization Code (also known as an EPP code) from your current registrar in your domain transfer settings. Then go to the Trustname Domain Transfer page, enter the domain you wish to transfer, and enter the Authorization Code. Follow the instructions to complete the transfer request.

Domain transfers to Trustname typically take five to seven days to complete. The duration depends on how quickly your current registrar processes the transfer request and confirms the release of the domain.

We recommend submitting a ticket or chatting live with your registrar to escalate the transfer and have it completed quicker. Most domains are transfered to Trustrname within 1-2 days with zero downtime meaning your website stays up and running.

Thanks to ICANN regulations, you'd need to wait for 60 days after registering your domain or transferring it previously, before you transfer it out to Trustname. To transfer a domain between two Trustname accounts (aka a domain push), you need to initiate an internal transfer by clicking on 'Transfer to another account' under the domain's 'Additional settings' and entering the recipient’s account email at Trustname in your dashboard. This process is much quicker than transferring between different registrars. Once tre transfer is approved by the receiving party, it's processed immediately.

To transfer a .UK domain to Trustname, you need to change the domain’s IPS tag to Trustname at your current registrar. Once changed, you can then initiate the transfer from the Trustname control panel by entering the domain name.
